It was a pleasure to welcome back alumna Gemma Pollock (OG 2014) on 5 December to speak to our potential engineers and Arkwright Scholars. We highly value the strength of our Wakefield Girls’ network and how much we share in lasting values.

Our alumnae Gemma is a former Arkwright Scholar and graduate MEng Product Design Engineering from Loughborough University. Now working as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager with 3P Innovation, Gemma visited to speak to potential Arkwright Engineering Scholarship applicants from Year 11,  giving advice and insight into her experiences of the Arkwright application process, her degree and her work as an engineer. It was an invaluable experience for current students who share an interest in product design engineering and the Arkwright Scholarship.
